MALAMA means to take care. The top picture is me taking care of Monarch butterflies. I am taking care of them because they are an endangered species. The right picture is me taking care of my dog when she got stung by a bee. The bottom picture is me cleaning up the beach. Malama I Ke Kai means to take care of the ocean. The left picture is me feeding a lost bird. I found the bird at Kewalos and it was too little to fly. We took it home and took care of it till the bird could fly away. It is important to MALAMA so we can take care of the community.
